What does CMC do?

We can imagine that it is quite unclear to you what it is that we do. CMC is a credit management company, which means that we help other companies to get their invoices paid. We do this with five different services:  

Debt Collection

We pursue the payment of overdue invoices for our clients by contacting the debtor and collecting their debts. We do this with a focus on both customer relationships and long-term solutions for overdue invoices.

Credit Control

We manage the outstanding invoices in name of our clients. We contact debtors to ask for a payment update, we provide dispute management and we handle email traffic regarding invoices.

Training

We provide trainings in effective accounts receivable management for employees that are responsible for that task.

Secondment

We offer tailor-made secondment assignments for organizations that need a credit management specialist on a temporary basis. 

Consultancy

We advise organizations in optimizing their credit management by providing consultancy services focused on the strategy.

Mission.

Our mission is to help our clients in getting their overdue invoices paid and preventing future invoices of becoming overdue. We do this by providing tailored credit management services that serve both our client as well as their debtors.

The Credit Control department consists of colleagues with a big variety of languages and nationalities, such as French, Colombian, British, Brazilian, and Polish. In the Credit Control team, you will mostly be calling and emailing with debtors in your native language. You also stay in touch with our client to keep them informed about your portfolio. Every credit controller works independently, but the team is close and meets every week to share experiences and knowledge.

The Debt Collection team also consists of colleagues from all over the world, because we contact our clients and their debtors in their native language. In the Debt Collection team, you are responsible for your own portfolio of clients and debtors. You do research about the debtor and the background of the debt, you contact debtors to negotiate a payment, you keep your clients informed and you advise them about debt management. The Debt Collection team works independently but closely together to share information and to reach targets together.

The Operations team is a collection of roles in Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations and IT. Everyone in the team has their own responsibilities and knowledge field, but many activities are intertwined and decisions are always made together. The Operations team is as international as the others: we have colleagues from Colombia, the Netherlands, Chile and more!
